Happy New Year's Eve!

Happy New Year's Eve! Anyone have any fun plans? I have some cool nails to show you that I'll be wearing tonight!

First, I began with three coats of ellagee Meet Me in Times Square! I topped it with Glass top coat and once it was dry, I put single chevron nail vinyls on my nails different ways. Then I used Zoya Seraphina, Ziv, and Mason to create waterfall designs in the chevrons before pulling off the nail vinyls. I used a nail art brush for this! If you want to see the tutorial I did on waterfall nails, you can find it here! And finally, my nails were complete! Be safe and Happy New Year! Enjoy! :)

Celebrating NYE with ellagee!

I hope everyone has their New Year's Eve nails planned! :) I have some gorgeous polishes by ellagee to show you that celebrate 2014!

Countdown to 2014 is a silver holographic polish with subtle hot pink, blurple, and silver microshimmer! The shimmer is really hard to see but it's just so pretty! And when the ball drops? Woo-wee this baby will be gorgeous! I did three coats all by itself!

Meet Me in Times Square is a sheer black polish with purple to gold shifting glitter. I cannot explain how gorgeous this polish is! It looks simply amazing on the nail! I did three coats all alone and it turned out perfectly! If you like either of these, you'd better hustle! Laura will be taking them out of the shop on January 1, 2014! Enjoy! :)

Kwanzaa Nails

Happy Kwanzaa to those of you who have been celebrating for the past two days! I wanted to do some Kwanzaa nails, so here's what I came up with!

I began with two coats of Zoya Josie on my index and ring finger nails and two coats of Square Hue Fifth Avenue on my middle and pinkie nails. Then, I water marbled clear and black polish over the top of each nail. If you follow me on , I posted a short video of this process! I love marbling with clear because you don't lose the polish color underneath and I don't have to waste a colored polish on marbling! Enjoy! :)

Twelve Days of ellagee: Umoja

Today I have the final polish of the ellagee Magical Winter Collection!

Umoja is a clear base loaded with red, green, and black glitter in all shapes and sizes! Laura created this glitter topper to celebrate Kwanzaa! This polish looks great and only needed one coat for the glitter coverage seen below! I polished that one coat over white! Enjoy! :)

Happy Christmas!

Happy Christmas if you are celebrating today! I am spending the day with Mr. IFP and our families! I love this day because it has always meant family time, even when we lived 1,200 miles away. We always traveled home for Christmas!

I did some festive and holographic nails for today! I began with two coats of Zoya Hunter. Then, I used my fan brush to brush on three holographic ellagees: I Wish You Peace, You Sexy Thang, and Lucky in the Sky. I brushed the lines diagonally this time, instead of my usual horizontal lines. Have a wonderful day with your family and friends! Enjoy! :)

Twelve Days of ellagee: Twinkly and Very Merry Christmas

Ready for two more days of ellagee?? I'm closing in on finishing showing you all of Laura's amazing Magical Winter Holidays Collection! Such a phenomenal collection! <3

First up I have Twinkly, one of my definite favorites that will be usable all year! This sheer top coat has been so popular that it will be sticking around after January 1, when the rest of the polishes retire! I can totally see why, this is one amazing polish! It changes and looks different depending on the polish you use as undies! Twinkly is packed with shimmer and that's it! So simple yet so elegant! I LOVE IT! I did one coat over Zoya Sooki and one coat over Zoya Monica, to show you the versatility of Twinkly!

Next is Very Merry Christmas, a clear base with red, green, and silver tinsel, gold holo stars, and red and black Mickey glitters! Even though I usually despise bar glitter, it works so perfectly as tinsel in this Christmas-y polish, I can get on board! ;) I did one coat over white and look how cute it turned out! Enjoy! :)

You Polish Advent Polishes Days 22 & 24

I have the final two You Polish advent polishes I received to show you guys today! I love this idea and I hope Lauren does it again next year!

First up is ORWAGCP, which is short for Obligatory Red, White, and Green Christmas Polish. I LOVE THIS POLISH! It's so perfect! It's a white crelly loaded with red and green glitter! It's a jelly sandwich in a bottle! I did three coats without undies but I'm sure one coat over white undies would look great, too!

Magi's Gift is a clear base loaded with tons of glitter! Blue, gold, and silver glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes swim together in this gorgeous top coat! I did two thin coats (over Square Hue Ocean Drive) to optimize the amount of larger glitters I was able to get out. I did no fishing and they all came out easily! Enjoy! :)

Twelve Days of ellagee: It's a Festivus Miracle and O Holy Night

Ready for two more gorgeous polishes from ellagee's Magical Winter Holidays Collection? Laura is done shipping until December 28th, but you can still place your order for her amazing polishes and they will ship after that!

First up is It's a Festivus Miracle! This silver holo polish leans slightly blue and is just plain beautiful! I did two layers of polish and it turned out to be gorgeous both in normal lighting and LED lighting!

O Holy Night is the other polish I have to show you guys today! It's a deep blue with tiny silver holo glitter and bright blue shimmer in it. This polish reminds me of a quiet winter night where the stars seem infinite in the sky. O Holy Night is gorgeous and has so much depth! It was perfect in two coats all by itself. Enjoy! :)

Christmas Gradient

Ready for some more Christmas nails? I just love the way these turned out and I got a ton of compliments on them at work! :)

I began with two coats of Zoya Delilah, a really great red shimmer that is gorgeous any time of the year! Then, using a ripped off piece of makeup sponge, I dabbed on Zoya Ivanka to create a red and green gradient. I've been chatting with a friend and fan, Angie, about the amazingness that is Bubbly, so when Ivanka was dry, I added one coat of ellagee Bubbly for some added festive awesomeness, and one coat of ellagee Glass top coat! These turned out so well that I wore them for days! Enjoy! :)
