Let me start off by apologizing for not having a manicure for you guys today! However, I have something that may be even better! I recently read about an easy way to remove polish with one cotton ball. ONE COTTON BALL! I thought to myself, "Ha! Yeah, right!" I usually use 3-4 cotton balls for removal, and I was always pretty proud that it was such a small amount. So, I decided I must try this amazing method for myself. Oh. My. Gosh. It seriously is awesome! After I did it myself, I used it on my brother's girlfriend and she exclaimed, "OH WOW!" when she took the first piece off! It's really great and I can't stop recommending it and singing its praises! Therefore, I took pictures of the whole process for you! Do NOT use this for glitter removal. For that, you're going to need something to go over the cotton ball pieces! Anyways, here are the steps I used to remove my LMFAO Zebra Nails! Enjoy! :)
1. Obtain one cotton ball. Yes, one!
2. Unroll the cotton ball
3. Split the unrolled cotton ball down the middle so you have two long pieces.
4. Rip each of the two long pieces into nail-sized pieces. I ended up getting 15 pieces out of this particular cotton ball.
5. Take each piece and put remover on it. I put it over the top of my travel sized Zoya Remove + and did one quick shake. Don't saturate it, but it does need to have a decent amount of remover on it. Then, place it on your nail and push it down so it covers your whole nail.
6. Put one piece on each nail. When you finish all ten nails, go back to the nail you began with. Press hard and slide it down from your cuticle until it's off your nail. Most of the polish should come off!
7. Viola! You should be left with nearly clean nails! I still have a few spots of polish on the sides, especially on my thumbs since they are such a large, flat nail. Use the extra cotton pieces to remove any leftover polish. This is what my nails looked like right after I took the cotton pieces off!
I need to try this! Too bad I usually use glitter polish all the time! XD
ReplyHahaha! Try it when you don't have glitter on...if that ever happens! :)
I have used it for glitter. I leave it on longer, and it doesn't work 100%, but it gets a good start.
