Sorry for my late posting but I've been mega busy lately! Anyways, today is my birthday! YAY! So I decided to put recreating someone else's nails on hold to do some cupcake nails! I will be recreating someone else's nails soon, though! For these I used striping tape, a dotting tool, and Zoya Purity, Reagan, and Raven! Enjoy! :)

Indie Spotlight: Lenten Rose
Sonnetarium! I just love Michelle and her polishes! She is a really great indie makers! I won a giveaway hosted by Sonnetarium in November and Lenten Rose was one of my prizes! Lenten Rose has light pink, white, and iridescent glitters in a clear base. I especially love the iridescent glitter! <3 I decided to use it over OPI A Grape Fit and I think these two go together perfectly! I used two coats of Lenten Rose, which went on really smoothly for being so chock full of glitter, over two coats over A Grape Fit. I love to combination! Enjoy :)

February Challenge: Recreate Favorite Day
I am off a day, but this time it's on purpose! I have something else planned for tomorrow, so I did my favorite day recreation today! I decided to recreate the flower day because I just loved those modern flowers! This time I used Zoya Purity, China Glaze For Audrey, China Glaze Recycle, and Zoya Zara. Enjoy! :)

February Challenge: A Theme You Missed
I haven't missed any themes yet but since I love plastic wrap nails, I decided to do those for today! I began with two coats of Zoya Jacqueline:
I then used Zoya Angelina and plastic wrap to create a marbled look! Enjoy! :)

I recreated the water spotted nails I did a few weeks ago using the ! These gave me a little trouble at first, but as you'll be able to see, they got better as I went! I began with a randomly striped mani using China Glaze Towel Boy Toy, Kiwi Cool-ada, Flip Flop Fantasy, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, and Sun Worshipper.
I then used my cup of water, hand sanitizer spray bottle, and OPI Black Onyx to create the water spotted look. I worked from pinkie to thumb, so you can see how I got better as I went. This technique definitely takes some practice! Enjoy! :)

February Challenge: Tissue Paper
Today I'm showing you my tissue paper nails! These are super easy but I'm not impressed with how they turned out and the wearability of these won't be good without several coats of top coat, which would cause the tissue paper to bleed so...yeah...I'm not sure how feasible these are for more than a day or so.
I began with two coats of Zoya Purity. I then put on top coat, allowed it to dry for a few minutes, then took randomly cut pieces of pink, yellow, and blue tissue paper and lightly pressed them down onto my nail. I ended up carefully putting one more layer of top coat over the tissue and it didn't bleed, luckily! Enjoy! :)

February Challenge: Lightning
Lightning to me usually means hockey, :) but I did the literal translation of lightning nails today! I began with two coats of OPI Black Onyx. I then used the same sponging method that I used for my galaxy nails. I used China Glaze Recycle, OPI A Grape Fit, and OPI DS Magic to create the base. I then used an orange stick and OPI Alpine Snow to draw on random lightning strikes. Enjoy! :)

February Challenge: Plaid
I just love plaid nails! I did a tutorial a few months ago and I used the same technique for today's mani! I began with two coats of Zoya Perrie, a creamy purple that I just adore! I then put tape over it and polished the untaped areas with China Glaze Stone Cold, which dries matte. I wanted to have some contrasting finishes in this mani, so the shiny creme and matte seemed perfect! Finally, I used sparkly royal blue striping tape and viola! Enjoy! :)
