BCA Straw Nails (Tutorial)

If you've been following me for over a year, you know that my October nail art focuses on Halloween nails and Breast Cancer Awareness nails. Breast Cancer Awareness is a cause that is near and dear to me and it makes me really happy to represent it on my nails!

I did straw nails today and I even did a tutorial for you guys!

Begin with your base color on each nail. I chose to go with a variety of colors: Zoya Shelby on my index, Zoya Lara on my middle, Zoya Purity on my ring, and Zoya Reagan on my pinkie.

Then, I gathered my supplies! I used the same colors for the straw circles that I already had on my nails. I also took my drinking straws and cut them in half so I'd have one straw for each color and didn't have to use four straws total! I also use a piece of paper.

Put a blob of polish on the paper. My blobs are usually two to three drops of polish.

Then, dip your straw in the polish. NOT LIKE THIS:

Then, place the straw on your nail! I generally roll it on so I just set the edge of the straw on my nail and then roll it across to the other side of the straw.

And viola! Straw nails! Enjoy! :)
