February Challenge: Wing Nails

I did another picture tutorial for the Wing theme today! I decided to do butterfly wings and I just love the way they turned out! I began with two coats of Zoya Michelle on all of my nails except for my accent nail, which has two coats of Zoya Arizona.

Zoya Michelle

I then used my black striping polish to draw an arc in the upper corner of my accent nail:

Next, I sponged Michelle underneath the black arc:

Then I drew lines down from the arc:

I then connected the lines with curved black lines and filled in the outer areas with the black striper:

Finally, I used Zoya Purity to make white dots in the black area toward the bottom of my nail. Enjoy! :)

Zoya Michelle and Arizona make a really happy combination. Great mani!

This is beautiful! I love how you did the wing with a big of sponging instead of a gradient! It's a nice quick way to do it!

Love these so pretty! I have a soft spot for monarch's because my aunt raised them to bolster the population.

Thanks! I love butterflies! That's awesome that your aunt raised them! Butterfly Conservatories are one of my favorite places to visit!

These are beautiful. I tried to do a butterfly mani once, but it was just all wrong. :)

Thank you! I only did an accent nail because I was fearful it wouldn't turn out well!
