Some of you may have heard, but if you haven't, thirteen year old passed away on Tuesday from cancer. I just recently discovered Talia but she was beautiful and amazingly talented. She will be greatly missed by the beauty community.
As a show of remembrance, bloggers decided to do a mint manicure in honor of Talia. Why mint? It was the last color she polished on her nails before she passed away. My friend, Laura of ellagee, even made a gorgeous holographic minty polish with $2 from each sale going to BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation, in honor of Talia.

I decided upon a striped white and mint mani modeled after another mani I did in November. I began with two coats of Zoya Purity. Once dry, I put on striping tape, polished China Glaze Re-fresh Mint over it, and pulled the tape off. Finally, I added on a Zoya Happi heart that I made as a decal on a plastic baggie. Rest in Peace, Talia.
Thank you for organizing this wonderful tribute, Nicole!
