Starry Night has been a favorite painting of mine for forever. I did a project on Vincent van Gogh in high school and recreated the painting for that project. I also went to see Starry Night at MoMA in New York City a few years ago. Then, when my husband and mother both wanted my painting from high school :), I painted another one. I just love it. I even had a Starry Night case of my phone for awhile and I also have one on my Kindle. It's more of a great love than an obsession, I promise. I don't know why it took me so long to create some Starry Night nails! I've had the idea in my head for quite some time, I've just been slacking on putting brush to nail. BUT, here they are!
I began with two coats of Zoya Natty. Look how gorgeous she is:
I then used Zoya Arizona to dot on the stars and I used an orange stick to draw the moon. Then, I used a long, thin nail art brush to do random strokes of Zoya Purity and Zoya Pippa around the stars and moon. After than, I used Zoya Rocky and Zoya Blu to do random strokes around Purity and Pippa. It didn't turn out exactly like I wanted it to, but I'm really happy with them for my first attempt! Enjoy! :)
